DescriptionF5 Networks 3-DNS Series Network Traffic Controllers
OverviewThe 3DNS Controller is a 24x7 high availability, intelligent load balancing product for geographically distributed Internet sites and data centers. 3DNS intelligently distributes traffic to multiple Internet sites regardless of platform type based on information about the site's availability and network's "health". 3DNS ensures that end users are sent to a site that is available and provides the best response. 3DNS' industryfirst CDN Peering capabilities allows ebusinesses to costeffectively and easily send traffic to a 3rd party network, based on specific business needs. The CDN then becomes a managed extension of the customer's network, allowing traffic to overflow to a CDN (overflow insurance), or peer traffic between CDNs based on other criteria. No other wide area load balancer offers this capability.
