DescriptionCincinnati Electrosystems 4161-3-24 3-Digit, 24 Volts BCD to Seven Segment Display | Numeric LED Display | Operator Display | Serial Message DisplayModel 4161 Binary Coded Decimal to 7 Segment Panel Mounted Display is an instrument which converts the BCD information from the DC output module of a programmable controller into a 7 segment digital display. Two basic models are available: either 5 or 24 volt power and logic. These models can be ordered with 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 digits. Switches mounted on the printed circuit board allow programming of the display to work with most programmable controllers. These programming switches allow the selection of 0 or 1 true data level, 0 or 1 true strobe input level and strobing of all or individual digits. The decimal point position is selected at the rear connector and can be latched with the decimal point strobe connection. A lamp test can be performed by applying a logic 0 to the lamp test input. Digits can be blanked by inputing a non-BCD bit pattern greater than nine. Standard 2, 3, 4 and 6 digit models have .43” high digits. Optional .8” high digits are available for the 2, 3 or 4 digit models. Digits are red with a red lens cover. The unit is housed in a rugged extruded aluminum case with a black front bezel. The case is 1-11/16” high, 3-5/8” wide and 4-1/2” deep. The panel cutout can be made by a standard 45mm x 92mm DIN punch. 2 to 4 digit models are supplied with a 30 pin solder tail connector; 6 and 8 digit models have two 30 pin solder tail connectors.Optional screw terminal or ribbon cable adapters may be used for rear panel connections. These adapters replace the 30 pin solder tail connectors and must be ordered separately.
Key FeaturesCompatible with all programmable 5 or 24 VDC models controllers Optional NEMA 4 and NEMA 12 panel All or individual strobes for multiplex sealing operation 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 digit models Switch selectable logic and strobe signal inputs
