For maximum performance, the PCM-4822 also supports an EDO/ Normal DRAM SIMM socket that can take up to 32MB memory. On-board features include support for VL-Bus Enhanced IDE interface with up to Mode 3 transfer protocol, two serial ports (RS232 and RS-232/422/485) with DB-9 connector as COM1, a mini-DIN PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface
