OverviewThe Andover Continuum I/O system comprises a series of modules separated by a function that connects via a common electrical communications network. Each functional component (module) is enclosed in a plastic case containing all of its connections to the outside world. Modules are connected to a central controller via a standard five-conductor connector.The Andover Continuum system includes at least one power supply and a single CPU module. I/O modules provide the controller with the ability to interface with the outside world. They connect directly and communicate with the CPU.
