OverviewThe DF8+ Series of single-phase DC motor controllers provide adjustable DC voltage to control the speed of either PM or Shunt Wound DC motors. Two models cover the range from 1/8 to 5 HP and come in either a chassis or NEMA-4 enclosure. All models have as standard, dual bridge four quadrant operation for rapid speed reversal and electronic braking, impedance isolated control circuits, a double loop control for precise regulation of current (torque) and voltage (speed), LED diagnostics for ease of troubleshooting and maintenance, current loop access for torque regulated drives, ±12 V auxiliary supply to power option boards, and zero speed relay. LED indicators for power “ON”, run relay, forward, reverse and zero speed.
