OverviewThe Megaplex is a flexible, modular multiplexer enabling integration of multiple voice, ISDN, video, data and LAN services directly over four full E1/T1 links per chassis or via built-in IDSL/HDSL modems compatible with RAD’s standalone ASMi-31, HCD and HTU modems. The main links also support optional integrated CSU/DSU and LTU or fiber interface. The Megaplex splits the voice and data channels and redirects the traffic to separate trunks, maximizing efficiency by directly connecting each trunk to the appropriate service.
