OverviewThe SRM-8V is a sync/async short range modem operating full or half duplex over twisted pair, unconditioned lines. It operates at nine selectable data rates up to 38.4 kbps, and has a range of 4 km (2.5 miles) at maximum rate.The SRM-8V features diagnostic capabilities complying with the ITU V.54 standard. Two analog loops are available: local analog loop and remote digital loop.
