OverviewThe miniature SRM-6AV is an asynchronous, high speed short range modem connecting full duplex asynchronous terminals to computers over two twisted pairs. It can support distances of up to 3 km (1.8 miles) at 115.2 kbps over 24 AWG cable. The SRM-6AV features a DTE/DCE switch, allowing operation as a DTE for connection to another DCE without the need for a cross cable.
