OverviewThe sub-miniature SRM-5TX and SRM-5SX are 2-wire short range modems connecting full duplex asynchronous or synchronous terminals, respectively, to computers over a single twisted pair or coaxial cable. They operate at data rates up to 19.2 kbps, with a range of up to 1 km (0.6 miles) for the SRM-5TX, or 1.1 km (0.7 miles) for the SRM-5SX.
