OverviewThe AMC-102 is a carrier-class media converter and repeater providing enhanced media conversion for Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and high speed ATM and SDH/SONET. Its modular design permits module field replacement and offers a flexible choice of connectors and media.The AMC-102 enables the connection of remote storage area networks (SANs) and storage devices over fiber optic cable for applications such as disaster recovery, business continuance, disk mirroring and backup.
