DescriptionMTL E Series Erocard IsolatorsMTL’s E Series is a range of high quality galvanic isolators, including some non-IS models, in 19-inch Eurocard format. The range is produced at Bochum, Germany, one of MTL’s design and manufacturing centres.All MTL Eurocard interface devices conform to the DIN41494 Eurocard standard and also to NAMUR EMC standards. The IS versions are TÜV certified to CENELEC standards and the ATEX Directive and all models are Year 2000 compliant.The Eurocard range provides all common functions, including HART® compatibility, so that most installations can be designed easily around the 19-inch cards. They operate with a 24V ac/dc supply or are loop powered.In addition to the power supply options, Eurocards offer a wide choice of input/output options, high transfer accuracy and a wide selection of alternative formats. For example, every IS card could be non-IS as well, and multi–channel cards, up to four channels, are also possible.This flexibility allows MTL to offer customised Eurocard solutions.
