DescriptionThe M48 is based on the M-Module ANSI mezzanine standard. It can be used as an I/O extension in any type of bus system, i.e. CPCI, PXI, VME or on any type of stand-alone SBC. Appropriate M-Module carrier cards in 3U, 6U and other formats are available from MEN or other manufacturers.The M48 M-Module outputs alphanumeric characters on LCD displays with on-board Hitachi HD61830 and HD61202 controller chips.The M48 adapts the displays to the system bus of the corresponding carrier board.Typical applications are additional monitors for measuring values, operating states etc.
