Operation of the output or control relay occurs when the resistance in the sensing circuit is low enough to permit transistor conduction.Application DescriptionType TF relays are available in Standard Duty or Failsafe Standard Duty with either plug-in or reed type output relays. Standard Duty relays are nonadjustable and have a normally deenergized output relay which closes upon transistor conduction. Failsafe Standard Duty relays feature adjustable sensitivity through a built-in potentiometer and in addition incorporate a failsafe feature whereby the output relay is normally energized and drops out upon transistor conduction or when a power line failure occurs
