OverviewExide Tytex cells have positive plate grids containing Silvium a patented alloy that inhibits grid corrosion thus lengthening battery life.Types ETA and FTA are assembled in heat-resistant, shock-absorbing polystyrene containers with polystyrene covers. All cells have burned seal ring construction.Separators are microporous. Retainers are Vitrex. The cover is permanently scaled to the jar to form a leak-proof bond.
