OverviewFast, secure communications The MI-700 series products will communicate with any EMERSON Motion Control product that is Modbus compatible, such as the AXIMAMtiti-Axis Controller or E Series Digital Servo Drives. EMERSON Motion Control products support an extended version of the Modbus protocol which allows the transmission of 32-bit values for greater precision.Communicating via Modbus ensures secure data transmission at rates up to 19,200 baud between the Motion Interface panel and the EMERSON Motion Control product. Word variables such as axis position and velocity commands as well as individual bits controlling outputs can be read and modified by the Motion Interface panel.
