Description: | SV-M15 Series Survivor-LightLink Enclosed Computer Monitors | Class I, Division 1 and 2. The SV-M15 is the first Class I, Division 1 and 2-compliant flat panel CRT replacement that is connected to its host computer via fiber optics. All signals including video, RS-232 (for touchscreen data), PS2 mouse and keyboard are transmitted over a single pair of eye-safe fiber optic cables. Benefits of using fiber optic as the communication medium include: The system comprises a small transmitter/receiver box mounted at the host computer, and a display system consisting of the display, "touchscreen and associated interface electronics. The 15" AMTFT LCD is available with a sunlight-readable 900-nit Ultra-HiBrite option for outdoor applications. Resistive and infrared touchscreen options are offered to allow you to choose the best match for your application. The SV-M15 is housed in an attractive enclosure that is designed to dissipate heat adequately. The enclosure is available in either stainless steel or painted formed aluminum. A mounting yoke allows pedestal, wall, or hanging mount. A keyboard tray with an industrial keyboard/mouse is also available. The SV-M15 is designed to meet Class I, Division 2 (non-incendive) code requirements, and Class I, Division 1 with the addition of an optional Type X purging system. |
