OverviewThe DataCaptor Connectivity software manages the communication and integration of data between medical devices and destination Hospital Information Systems. It is the core software component of Capsule’s Connectivity Suite. DataCaptor is flexible in its deployment. Users can run it as server-only or in a distributed client/server configuration.In a distributed configuration, DataCaptor can also execute on one or several Capsule Neurons, or on standard computer located in the patient room or point of care. In this configuration, the server provides the central point of aggregation for all clients as well as centralized system management functions.
