OverviewThe Epoxy is a consumable used with the 1032B-type Fibre Connector Tool Kit which comes equipped with a curing oven. The Epoxy consists of two compounds that, when mixed, eventually solidify. Heating the Epoxy mixture allows it to solidify much quicker as it hardens during the cooling process. The Epoxy is injected into an ST or SC fibre connector, the fibre is then inserted and placed in the curing oven. The Epoxy secures the fibre within the connector and provides extra protection to the fibre end during the polishing process. The kit provides 8-gram, 2-part Epoxy packages.
