DescriptionThe Alcatel 5526 Access Management System (AMS) is the premiere ANSI element manager that delivers a complete management solution for Alcatel Litespan, Advanced Services Access Manager (ASAM), and Fiber to the User (FTTU) platforms. It allows for full remote support of network elements, including provisioning, software downloads, database backup and restore, fault management, disaster recovery and performance monitoring. The Alcatel 5526 AMS provides an intelligent graphical user interface (GUI) to translate simple point-and-click actions to complex management information base (MIB) variables and sequences of transaction language 1 (TL1) or simple network management protocol (SNMP) commands.
