DescriptionThe Alcatel 5430 Session Resource Broker (SRB) is a server-based application that enables service providers to differentiate their offerings through bandwidth on demand and quality of service (QoS). The bandwidth-on-demand feature allows service providers to address the needs of users who want the benefits of low-cost broadband services, but who temporarily need to increase bandwidth on a pay-per-use basis to support a service or a communication, or to quickly download a large file. These bandwidth increases can be initiated automatically by the application or by the end user through a boost button
